A Fold of a Different Feather

I'm back today with a Get Well card. I made this a few days ago but just haven't gotten around to posting it. I've been busy trying to get things moved to the computer in my craft room. My old one went Ka-put on me a while ago and I just hadn't taken the time to put everything on my new one.

I tried out a new fold for this card, which I saw on Splitcoast Stampers. It's called the Double Z fold and I really love the look of it. For this one, I used a Stampin' Up stamp from Touch of Nature and coloured it with Copics. The ribbon is from Offray and the bow holds the card closed. I typed the sentiment on my computer.

And here it is opened up:

Cardstock: Coredinations, Copic Xpress It, Unknown
Patterned Paper: Unknown
Stamp: Stampin Up Touch of Nature
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copics
Ribbon: Offray
Punch: Fiskars
Other: Pearls (unknown), Scalloped Circle Nestabilities
Fonts: Script MT Bold, Bell MT - all at 22 pt

Thanks for stopping in!

I really like that fold! At first I thought it was a gate fold but it surprised me! Love your coloring of the sweet birdie!

Beautiful card. Love the blues. I'm going to have to try that card, I like making cards that are a bit different.
